T-Shirt Makeover

Don´t we all have that old T-shirt that we barely wear? If you are tired of that piece of clothing taking up space, take a look at this DIY.
For the first part of this tutorial, this is what you´ll need.
Supplies: T-shirt and scissors.
I was looking for the tank top style, so I cut out the sleeves and deepened the arm openings. On the front, I cut out a round neckline. On th back, I cut out a V neckline.
To add some charm to the back, I used a remaining piece of the sleeve and cut it out in a long rectangle. I tied it joinig both sides of the V neckline. I wrapped the fabric and tied a knot.
With all the cutting done, it´s time to decorate the shirt.
Supplies: acrylic/fabric paint, sponge, tape, cardboad cut-out of desired shape and cardboard (to place inside shirt).
Place a cardboard inside the shirt to prevent paint from leaking to the other side of the shirt. Glue your cut-outs and add paint to your sponge. Don´t exagerate on the quantity of paint. Start dabbing and making a halo around the cardboard shapes. After the paint is dry, remove the cut-outs.
Happy crafting!
