Pets are humans´ best friends. They are loving and adorable and are great subjects to photograph! Here are some tips and tricks to help you take wonderful pics of your best friend!
Most pets can be really hyperactive and full of energy, which makes it really hard to get a good picture. Some dogs know how to sit and stay, which makes photographing so much easier. You could teach your pet those tricks or you can simply hold a treat close to the lens. They might still jump around a bit, but at least they will look in the right direction. If they refuse to obey take a break and try again later. Don´t forget to be patient.
Another tip is to take various pictures in a row. If you only take a few pics, there is a chance that your pet was moving on some of them. All you have to do later is select the best shots.
Preparing your pet for the pic is great. You can dress them up and use props, which is lots of fun.
Pets can be truly amazing. They do many things that can be uncommon and very surprising. When you find your pet during one of those moments make sure to capture it. Not all pictures have to be prepared by humans, sometimes pets do that by themselves. You don't necessarily have to make them pose for the picture, they can be even cuter and more adorable when you aren't forcing them to do things they don't want to.
Also take pics in special occasions. That way, you will have great memories of that day. Plus, our pets usually are looking very nice for those special events ;)
