Jenga® Block Boxes

Do you still have that old game called Jenga®?
"The players take turns removing one block at a time from a tower constructed of 54 wood blocks. Each block removed is then balanced on top of the tower, creating a progressively taller but less stable structure." (Wikipedia)
I found it when I was moving and, since I didn´t play with it anymore, I decided that it was makeover time!

Supplies: Jenga® blocks, wood primer, acrylic paint, paintbrush, varnish, and hot glue gun.

First thing you have to do is arrange the blocks into a box. I used 6 blocks for the base, 4 for the left and right side and 1 for the other 2 sides.
I applied a coat of primer to prepare the blocks for painting.
Then, I applied a few coats of acrylic paint until I was satisfied with the coverage.

First I glued the base. Then, I put two blocks on the sides as guides to glue the one on top of the base. I did the same on the other side. I glued the 4 blocks that surround the base. Lastly, I glued the 4 other ones on top.

After applying a coat of varnish, they are ready to be used! They are great to store things that are just lying around the house or your room. They can be stacked or layed out and can be used as drawer organizers.

Happy Crafting!
