Horseshoe Decor Item

Welcome to the wonderful world of makeovers, where an old rusty horseshoe becomes a beautiful decor item.
My dad found this rusty horseshoe when we traveled to a ranch, a long time ago. Something told him that it might be useful, so he brought it home. When I saw it, I absolutely fell in love!
Before I started, I had to get rid of all that rust. I used many techniques to do so: letting it sit in coke, then vinegar and letting it rest in a mixture of salt and lemon juice. The results were A-MAZ-ING.
Supplies: Spray paint of your choice, varnish and sandpaper for metal.
I used metal sandpaper to make the final touches and remove any reamining rust.
When it was clean and shiny, I chose my favorite spray paint color and began spraying. I applied two coats of paint and a coat of varnish to give it an extra shine.
I found the perfect spot for it on the front door. I also decorated it with flowers for another option, when I get bored of it sitting on my door.

Happy Crafting!
