Decorative Vase

Hey friends! I found some aquarium rocks that were from my fishies that I had during childhood (rest in peace fishies). Why not find another use for them?

Supplies: A glass container (preferably clear), a plant and an assortment of rocks. I also cut out circle from a plastic sheet, so that when I watered the plant, the water didn´t leak down to the rocks.

Step 1 was to decide what rock design I wanted to make. I decided to separate the rocks into color categories to make color stripes in the vase.

I placed the rocks by color until I had about 6 cm of free space to place the plant.
Next, I measured the diameter of the glass vase and cut out a circle from a sheet of a very stable and resistant plastic that fit perfectly inside. This is to stop most water from leaking into the rock section.
Then, all I had to do was plant!
After the cactus was safe and sound in his new home, I found the perfect spot for my new decorative vase.

Happy crafting!

Thaisa :]
