Case Makeover
Tired of that old plain case? Time to give it a makeover!
iPhone Case

I was sick and tired of my black iPhone case. It was plain and depressing, so I decided to add a little bit of style to it.

Supplies: case, ornaments to glue on, silver permanent marker and glue. I will use Araldite, a very famous type of glue here in Brazil.

Using stencils, I dotted the top and bottom of the case with a silver permanent marker. Honestly, I didn´t have to use stencils, but whatever.

Then I arranged my strass and wrote LOVE (that´s just so me – totally bling!)
I used tweezers to hold the strass while I applied glue. Still using the tweezers, I placed the strass on the case. I did one letter at a time, giving them 3-hour intervals to dry.

I thought the case looked a little to empty, so I dotted it a little more.

At first I thought I wouldn´t need varnish, but I realized that the permanent marker might blur with time.
The case looked gorgeous and bling!
iPod Case

I also had a plain white iPod case that was begging for a makeover.

Supplies: case, acrylic paint of your choice, varnish, primer, glue and ornaments.

First, I applied one coat of primer, to prepare the case for painting. Then, three coats of purple acrylic paint and a coat of varnish.

When it was dry, I used Araldite to glue on some jewelry beads with flat bottoms. I arranged them in a gradient-like pattern and glued the top ones first and, 3 hours later, the bottom ones.

I absolutely loved the final results! Now it’s your turn to spice up some cases!
Happy crafting!
